Like a traditional open house, you will want to make sure that the date you have in mind will work with your overall timeline. Will everything be ready and will you have enough time to properly market the event
Set up Time and schedule Zoom Meeting so that you have a meeting ID. Ideally a week before. When setting this up, you will need to select whether you will require registration prior to the event. It’s a great way to collect data, but it will also deter some people from joining if they have to submit personal information. PLEASE MAKE SURE IF you are premium member on Zoom, that you select “record” meeting
Do a physical walk through at property to test out wi-fi connection and decide on what features to spend most time on when going Live
Begin Advertising on Facebook via Business Page and Personal Page. Just use 1 or 2 of most intriguing photo of home. Post on Stories and regular post. Prepare to post at least 3-4 times before the event
Email out an invite with a note to your prospects, sphere, past clients, and anyone in your farm area you have email addresses for… The invite would mention something like, “in case you know someone who is in the market for a 3 Bedroom SFR in Irvine,” type of wording. You may want to email them with a calendar invite directly from this email
Continue advertising via posts and FB Stories, without sharing too many details on the home
Prepare to do a FB Live at least 1 time, ideally more to do a quick intro for the Virtual Open House. The purpose of these FB Live’s is to gain more interest as well as to market yourself while you get in some practice before doing the Virtual Open House. You might do the Live standing in front of the property, or perhaps near an HOA amenity. Because you want drive traffic to your Open House, you should try to look for creative ways do the FB Video. You may describe the community, HOA, nearby schools, the builder…etc…
4-5 days before the event, you can boost an AD on Facebook. The Ad would contain the Zoom Meeting Invite along with the Meeting ID number
Day Of Event:
Put out signs for the Virtual Open House/Riders
An hour or 2 before Zoom, do another quick FB Live giving property address and Price. Invite audience to meet you at Zoom, at xx Time with Meeting ID xx…
Start Zoom Meeting…
A few days after the meeting, upload video onto FB so that you can host a watch party .
